Frequently-asked questions about sizing
1.  How does the sizing compare to traditional swimwear?
In the women's sizes they tend to run about a size small.  A good rule of thumb for two piece suits is to go up one size from what you normally wear in jeans. For one piece suits use our sizing chart - if you are between sizes, go with the bigger size.  The most important measurement when measuring for a one piece suit is the torso length - you will want to make sure that the suit fits you correctly and it is not pulling at your shoulders.  For men's sizing, take your waist measurement and compare it to our sizing chart to get the correct size.
2. How do I measure myself to determine the right size?
First, measure your bust at the fullest part.  Then, while standing straight, measure around your waistline, making sure the tape fits comfortably.  For hips, measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. For correct torso length, measure from the high point of one shoulder at neck, down through crotch and
back up to the same point. This measurement is only needed when looking to purchase a one piece suit.
3. How should the suit fit for optimum tanning?
Our suits are designed to fit snugly so that the pores in the fabric stretch open to allow the sun's tanning rays to penetrate it. If the suit is too tight or too loose it will not function properly. Our suits are made with 32% Spandex so they will stretch to accommodate both the short and long torsos.
